LIMITED-EDITION ALPINE WHITE DG-335 PLAYED BY GROHL ON STAGES WORLDWIDE SINCE 2021, NOW AVAILABLE IN A RUN OF JUST 50 GUITARS, EACH SIGNED BY THE ROCK LEGEND

Dave Grohl — the legendary 19-time GRAMMY® winner and two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee — has long been linked with Gibson guitars. Since 2021, he’s been taking the stage with a striking Alpine White version of his signature DG-335 at Foo Fighters concerts worldwide. Now, Gibson is releasing an ultra-limited run of that very guitar, complete with the same Alpine White gloss nitrocellulose finish.

This exclusive model merges Grohl’s favorite elements from the ES-335 and Trini Lopez designs. It features a semi-hollow three-ply maple/poplar/maple body with bound, diamond-shaped Trini Lopez–style sound holes, single-ply cream binding, and a solid maple centerblock to help control feedback.

The mahogany neck, built with a long tenon for added sustain, is carved to the classic Trini Lopez profile. It’s topped with a bound Indian rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and cellulose split-diamond inlays. A Firebird™/Trini Lopez–inspired headstock and Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners complete the look.

Premium hardware includes a TonePros™ ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles and a locking TonePros Stop Bar tailpiece for rock-solid tuning. Under the hood, unpotted Custombuckers with aged Alnico 3 magnets deliver vintage-inspired tone, paired with individual volume and tone controls using CTS® pots and paper-in-oil caps. A Switchcraft® 3-way toggle, ¼-inch output jack, and Gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors round out the setup.

Previous DG-335 releases have sold out instantly and remain coveted on the vintage market. With only fifty guitars in this special edition — each with a soundhole label personally signed by Dave Grohl — this run is expected to disappear fast. Every guitar includes a Gibson Custom hardshell case and is available exclusively through Gibson.com and the Gibson Garage stores in Nashville and London.

Foo Fighters will kick off their 2026 global stadium tour on June 10 in Oslo, Norway. It will be their first stadium tour since the massive 2023–2024 Everything or Nothing at All run, which sold out football and baseball fields around the world. The new tour will bring the maximum-volume euphoria of the band’s recent surprise U.S. club gigs and overseas outdoor and arena spectaculars to more than 20 cities spanning the globe, concluding (for now) on September 26 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

Queens of the Stone Age will be direct support on all dates except September 12 in Fargo.
